"I just returned from competing in the USA Judo National Championships out in Round Rock, Texas. I ended up winning both divisions. I threw all of my opponents, with the exception of 1, for the maximum score in judo (ippon) and was never scored on throughout the day. I wanted to send along a note to say “Thank You” to Dr. Gross and (Dr. Lee Webb) for performing the hip resurfacing. Without it, I definitely would not have done so well. Judo is an extremely rough sport, so... my competition success in judo is a testament to the types of activities one can... participate in after having hip resurfacing."
